A therapeutic lamp object from the series „I Combat
Darkness” combines a lighting function with a spiritual
dimension. The very process of shaping and smoothing
the clay aims to achieve the most subtle, pleasant
to-touch forms that enhance a sense of harmony
and calm. It facilitates the initiation or cessation of
thought processes, shaping through thinking, non
thinking shaping or „thinking with clay”. Its function is
anything but merely decorative, as it shines directly
into the eyes. The engraved inscriptions in varoius
lanuages serve as reminders of self-love and the
need for support. The „I Combat Darkness / Je combat
l’obscurité / Zwalczam mrok” lamps transforms from
an everyday object into a therapeutic session.
